Art Class: Studies - May 17
How do I develop my painting style? How can I practice and improve without spending weeks on a full-size painting? How do I become a faster, looser, and more efficient painter?
In this class, we’ll make paper studies: small, quick acrylic paintings on paper, where we “study” the colours and shapes in a reference photo. We’ll test the limits of our paintbrushes and explore colour-mixing, with a focus on landscapes.
This is a lab: a place for guided experimentation, where we’ll let go of perfection and experience small successes. It also feels a bit like a party - we’ll have snacks, laughter, music, and a shared sense of awe at our collective creative productivity.
This class is perfect for beginners, or anyone who's looking to step out of their comfort zone.
Class limited to 6 participants.
